Our history
| Metall-Chemie was founded as a trading company in Hamburg in 1949. It began as a part of the Lubovitch-group in Paris, which was founded in the twenties and already had subsidiaries in north and south America as well as in Australia. At the beginning, the company dealt only in raw materials in the form of ore and half finished products. Later, the range of products was extended to include chemicals and fire-resistant products for use in industry.. The activities of this trading company laid the basis for the present-day of Metall-Chemie Gruppe, which is now managed by the Metall-Chemie Holding and has been privately run since its foundation.. Currently production and trading companies working in the field of refined chemicals, fixing technology, impregnation of decor paper as well as non ferrous metals belong to the group. |
